Internship Levels

The aim of Level I (Junior Internship) is to equip the intern with

  • Case history taking skills
  • An understanding of the clinical features of disorders
  • Case history report writing
  • Formulating diagnoses
  • Administering/scoring rating scales/IQ tests

The aim of Level II (Senior Internship) is to equip the intern with the skills to administer, score and report

The aim of Level III (Apprenticeship) is to equip the intern with

  • Basic counselling skills
  • Skills in psychoeducating clients regarding mental health concerns
  • Crisis intervention

*A letter of experience will be provided at the end of each level.

  • Eligibility: Completed Masters in Clinical Psychology, and has passed Level Two in the internal assessment.
  • Key Learnings: Basic counselling skills, psychoeducation, parent counselling and crisis intervention
  • Max Number of Seats: 8
  • Min Number of Seats: 4
