I’ve been working with Dr. Apoorva Shrivastav to uncover blind spots I didn’t want to see. I always knew deep down that my insecurity made me compare myself and try to prove I was good enough. But admitting it felt embarrassing and didn’t match how I saw myself, so I kept resisting it. I’m sharing this because therapy can feel slow, especially when you’re working through things you don’t want to see about yourself. But I’m also learning that these moments—when something finally clicks—make it all worth it. It clearly has been life-changing for me. Therapeutic Approach

With a humanistic approach at the core of her practice, Dr. Apoorva believes in the inherent value and potential for growth within each individual. Drawing upon a rich tapestry of therapeutic modalities, including Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness, Supportive Therapy, and other third wave therapies, she tailors her approach to meet the unique needs of each client.
She has extensive experience working with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, personality disorders, parenting and relationship issues, psychoses, and other psychopathologies. She understands the complexities of these conditions and strives to create a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences.
Her strength lies in her ability to adapt her therapeutic techniques to suit the individual needs and goals of her clients.
